72nd Independence Day was celebrated on 15 th August, at 8:00 am in our School premises.
The celebration began with a pomp of flaming colours. Our Chief guest was Mrs. Syeda (Principal). She was escorted by our School band troop students of Class VIII. First and foremost we had the prayers followed by unfurling of our tricolour flag by our Principal Mam. As a salutation for the flag, a flag song was sung by our students with the patriotic feeling.
· Godavari house students delivered a speech on Freedom fighters.
· Yamuna house students sang a wonderful patriotic song which induced patriotism in everyone.
· A speech in Hindi was given by Kaveri house students on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
· Tamil speech was given by Kaveri house student delivering a poem of Bharathi- the great Tamil Poet.
Ganga house organised anchoring. Students of Class 11 sang another patriotic song and that concluded the programme.
Last but not the least a short speech was delivered by our school Principal with a message that,“Hard work, Dedication and Sincerity” leads to one’s growth . She said these are the three essential things that every student of BVM School should imbibe.
Tushar of class XI delivered the vote of thanks.
