Sanskrit literary competition was held on Saturday, 3rd November ,2018.Competitions like memory game,shloka recitation, story narration, speech and song were organised by the language department.The students of 6th standard had the task of remembering and naming the articles displayed in sanskrit. 7th standard students narrated a story of their own choice with a lot of voice modulation. Pronunciation and confidence of the students were judged. For 8th standard students, getting the right rhythm of the shivatandava stotram was the challenge. 9th standard students gave a speech on classical music followed by rendering of a beautiful song in Sanskrit. Through out the competition, focus was on judging fluency, vocabulary , and pronunciation. This has motivated more students to participate in the following years.
