Students of class 6-9 participated in the district level cultural event “SALANGAI KALAI VIZHA” jointly organized by the “SMS COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE & KALAI PANPATTU MAIYAM on January 9^th 2019. They participated in the categories Group dance, Solo dance, Villupattu, Naattupura paadal and won 1^st in solo dance, 1^st in group dance, 1^st in Villupattu and 2^nd in Naattupura paadal.
