The Kindergarten students of BVM Global @ Coimbatore celebrated Traditional Food Festival with immense joy and enthusiasm on Wednesday, 22nd July 2020. A traditional food stall was set up in the school premises where in all varieties of traditional foods like sprouts, steamed food, Ragi and Porridge were displayed in banana leaves.
Teachers explained each part of plantain herb, its uses and spoke about the importance and health benefits of traditional food made in earthen pots. Students participated virtually and spoke about their favourite dishes made by their grandparents and enjoyed learning about our forgotten traditional foods.
