Ganesh Charturti also known as Vinayaka Charturthi is a Hindu festival to celebrate the birth of Lord Ganesha.
The students of BVM Global School at Coimbatore celebrated Ganesh Charturti with immense joy and enthusiasm on Thursday, 9th September 2021. On this occasion, the little ones of Grade-2 rendered a marvelous performance. They started the program with a prayer followed by the Welcome Speech.
The program continued with a divine Slogan Recitation. After which, Mrs. Bhuvana, Art Teacher showed how to make an idol of Lord Ganesha using turmeric powder. This was indeed very creative and interesting. Then we had a Story-telling session on Lord Ganesha which was very informative.
Followed by this, was a demo on the delicious preparation of Modaks. To end the program with a divine touch, we had a song rendering on Lord Ganesha that was mesmerizing.
The program ended with a vote of thanks.
