Ganesh Chaturthi marks the birth of lord Ganesha. Also known as the 'Vinayak Chaturthi' or 'Vinayak Chavithi', Ganesh Chaturthi is observed during the Hindu month of Bhadra. This usually occurs during mid-August to mid-September.
We made a significant celebration on 24th August, 2017 in our school premises which started at 4.15 pm and ended at 5.30 pm.
In our school, the students presented an excellent kuchery to audience which made the evening delightful and to prepare ourselves for the celebration the next day. Students staged their talents in violin, mridangam, veena and vocal like professionals.
Our chief guest, Smt.Ranjani, a vocalist and violinist, appreciated our children for their performance. It was a pleasure to hear her fingers on violin in ‘kurai ondrum illai’ and her song.
